Summit Brew Path Logo and Passport
Northeast Ohio is quickly becoming a Mecca for craft beer. When the Akron Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau asked us to work on an Akron/Summit County beer trail project, we jumped at the chance! We first named the trail the Summit Brew Path, based on influences from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the legendary Tow Path that runs through it. From there we created the logo with a rustic nod to Summit County, and incorporated a pint glass / map pin icon.
The brochure, or “passport,” acts as a guidebook and allows explorers to collect stamps from each location on the path. We printed the cover in white ink on a heavy brown paper stock, with a faux stitch down the spine to give it the feel and look of an old journal.
The press has noticed too!
